Tickets are on sale now for the 105 RCACC Mess Dinner on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Vic Johnston Community Centre.

Tickets are $10, but the money is refundable when you attend the mess dinner.

Tickets available outside the CO's office next to the canteen or by etransfer to treasurer@ streetsvillearmycadets.com (details to include with etransfer: cadet's name, star level, and meal preference (halal/veggie/no preference)

📢If you need a bowtie, we have them at canteen for $3.

This is a celebrated tradition at 105 Streetsville Army Cadets. All cadets are encouraged to attend.

We are so proud of the 17 cadets who stood guard at the Streetsville Cenotaph on Sunday evening in honour of our veterans for Remembrance Day. The cadets stood on guard for 1 hour shifts with a 2-hour rest from 9:00 p.m. Sunday until after the Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday.

We would like to thank the following sponsors for helping us look after our Cadets through the night.

OLG Rama Gaming House for the radios, tents, and much needed rain ponchos.🌧
As the Army Cadets say... "if it ain't raining... it ain't training!"

Cooper Equipment Rentals for the outdoor heaters and flood lights.

Another anonymous donor for supplying hot chocolate for the cadets.

And a big thank you to all of the support committee parents for making sure the cadets had food and refreshments throughout the night.

Standing guard in honour of our veterans at Streetsville Cenotaph.

Our Cadets will be doing 1 hour shifts every 3 hours overnight until they are relieved at 10:45am tomorrow morning by the Streetsville Legion for the Remembrance Day Parade.

Army Cadets from Streetsville 105 proudly marched in honour of our veterans in a Remembrance Parade at the Anavet Centre in Port Credit this morning.
We were fortunate that the rain held off for the parade and most of the ceremony.

Thank you to @anaf_262 for the hotdogs, sheppard's pie, refreshments and fellowhip after the ceremony.

All of the cadets at 105 received Poppies tonight

All of the cadets at 105 received Poppies tonight from the Streetsville Legion in preparation for our upcoming Remembrance Day ceremonies this weekend.

On Sunday morning our cadets will be marching in the Armistice Parade and Ceremony at the Army Navy Air Force Veterans Center in Port Credit.

Join us on Sunday evening at the Streetsville Cenotaph for the opening of the Overnight Vigil. Cadets will be standing guard over night until the Remembrance Day ceremonies on Monday.

Streetsville 105 got into the Halloween spirit tonight with a costume contest. The winners received $5 Canteen Bucks.
We had chainsaw head, tactical banana, witches, Harry potter characters, minions, cheeto bags, and many more amazing costumes.

The 105 Cadets were out in full force this weekend

The 105 Cadets were out in full force this weekend, distributing Remembrance Day poppies for the Streetsville Legion. Over 100 cadets volunteered over the two days.

One cadet received a $100 bill and was told to make sure that everyone had a poppy. ❤️😊
